The goal is to create a transitional, experimental, eco / off-the-grid, permaculture centre, then teach people to start their own all over the country.  These centres will be places where hassled city dwellers can come to escape the rat race on a part-time or full-time basis and bond with nature and their souls.  These transitional communities will be run in complete harmony with the environment and be totally self-sustaining.

You will be able to live there, stay for a weekend, or just come for the day and go for walks or cycle in nature; find a quiet spot under a tree to read, meditate, paint, sculpt, think, sing, play an instrument, listen to beautiful music, write, have a picnic, brainstorm with your friends, awaken, etc etc.  They're safe retreats to regroup where you can get some peace or have some company depending how you're feeling.

We'll be offering short and medium term accommodation, share options for long term, eco courses and homemade products to make ends meet.  Like with all small businesses, you will be supporting and feeding their families and local communities; not the multi-national corporations (MNC's) just wanting to buy another country to turn us into perpetual slaves via their earth-depleting methods.

These will be working centres / farms where you can stay on the property and work the land and do maintenance work for the good of the entire community for a fee. Structures need to be built and natural building is something we can all get involved in.  We will grow organic gardens and plant fruits and vegetables to sustain ourselves.  Once money permits, we will move to solar energy to pump our own water and keep us in the comforts to which we've become accustomed. There is no need to go back to the dark ages, we plan to have internet access on the farm too. We all know that's crucial these days to run a business.

Courses will include learning how to grow your own food; how to prepare and cook those beautiful homegrown ingredients; making GMO free breads; learn how to build your own home from materials on your property; how to recycle and build compost, learn to meditate.

Our transitional, experimental communities are for people to find new harmonious ways to live together in small, sustainable, stress and strife free, off the grid groups.  Long term we would like to move to a total moneyless environment in these communities, but that won't be possible in the short term.  Costs need to be covered because municipalities, cellular and internet providers, garages and banks don't exactly accept vegetables as payment. And property needs to be bought and paid for.  We need to be practical to make this succeed.

We do not recognise the tyranny and ineffectiveness of world governments and these will be self-governing communities.

We are looking for people who think like this to help start,  grow and develop these centres.  Experience isn't necessary, passion and compassion is; but any outdoor / building / engineering / biology / gardening / cooking skills can only come in very handy.  Contact me if you are one of them.  If you cannot live without your Gucci handbag, sports car, DSTV and fastfood however, this may not be the right environment for you.

We want to be surrounded by love and gentleness for ourselves, each other, and our environment. We want to uplift the area placed in our care for the greater good.

Status Update : The farm plan has been delayed by 2 years due to financial constraints.  Instead, a house has been bought in Midrand with a nice big garden to build a permaculture garden and try all the farm things on a micro basis.  All preparation for the big farm one day.  Future space of love under-way!
